Welcome to Poetic Muse
April 29th 2007I like to extend a warm welcome to all visitors, this site is dedicated to poetry, from displaying some of my own poetry, to honoring the great poets of the past, and exploring poetry.
I choose this lovely layout to be the one for these pages, hopefully you feel that it fits the site as much as I do. I did not create layout, and credit for the layout is placed on each page.
Introduction
Poetry to me is an extention of inner thoughts, emotional struggles, or just the attempt to say something. Essentially, poetry has existed since man's early beginnings from the first prehistoric chants to the bards song at the fireside. Poetry can be the inner whispers of a soul longing to be heard and acknowledge, and in a sense all of us can created poetry.
"Poetry is more fundamental than written language." Poetry can be like music, painting, and scrulpture. Many of us write poetry for ourselves, to get something off our chest.
